TikTok Implements User Rights Decisions
TikTok is the first platform to implement decisions issued by User Rights under the European Digital Services Act (DSA). This marks a significant step in establishing transparent dispute resolution bodies for social media platforms. User Rights is the first certified German dispute resolution body under Article 21 of the DSA. To date, hundreds of cases have been successfully submitted and resolved.

Technological Support through Rule-Based AI
User Rights is supported by the Rulemapping Group as its technology provider. Rule Based AI technology enables scalable, transparent, and automated decision support. The Rulemapping Group has mapped the entire DSA regulatory framework into the Rulemapping standard, integrating relevant regulations, such as criminal law and platform terms of use.

Rule Based AI: Combining Rule Compliance with LLM Flexibility
Rule Based AI revolutionizes dispute resolution:
  • Automated Decision Preparation: Complex decisions are systematically prepared and validated by a human-in-the-loop.
  • Combination of Rulemaps and LLMs: Deterministic rules merge with probabilistic Large Language Models (LLMs) to process unstructured data with precision.
  • Transparency and Traceability: Each decision is documented with meta-information, ensuring logical and auditable outcomes.
The no-code integration of AI services allows seamless implementation, with full transparency ensured through logging every interaction.
